A pop superstar looks unrecognisable in her forgotten role from Orange Is The New Black before her music fame - but can you recognise her?

Fans of the Netflix hit, created by Jenji Kohan, have shared their shock at realising that none other than Sabrina Carpenter, 25, appeared in the show.

Sabrina appeared in the ninth episode of the first series called "F***sgiving" as youngster Jessica Wedge.

One TikTok user shared the scene on her account with the caption: 'Doing my annual Orange Is The New Black ewwatch when I come across young Sabrina Carpenter bullying Alex Vause.

Alex Vause (Laura Prepon) has a flash back of a moment from when she was younger afterTiffany Doggett (Taryn Manning) calls her a rich b***h.

But she was actually far from it in the flashback scene.

Sabrina's alter-ego Jessica laughs at Alex's trainers, telling her: 'Real Adidas have three stripes. Not four.

'Your shoes are bobos.'

Alex asks: 'So?'

Jessica replies: 'So your mum shops at Payless and works at Friendly's.'

'My mum has like four jobs,' Alex says back.

And Jessica tells her: 'That's not something to brag about. You dress like a bum!'

One of her friends chimes in: 'She smells like one too!'

Alex's mum then arrives to pick her up and Jessica asks: 'Do you guys live in that janky car too?' Bye bye pigsty!'

Many rushed to the comments section to share their shock.

One asked: 'THAT WAS SABRINA??'

'That's Sabrina?? no way!!!!'

'Oh wow, I never realized that was Sabrina!! crazy!!'

Orange Is The New Black hit our screens in 2013 on Netflix.

The show played out until 2019 after seven successful series.

It stars the likes of Taylor Schilling, Laura Prepon, Michael Harney, Michelle Hurst, Kate Mulgrew, Jason Biggs and Uzo Aduba.

The official synopsis reads: 'When a past crime catches up with her, a privileged New Yorker ends up in a women's prison, where she quickly makes friends and foes.'
