Marvel’s Luna Snow: New Villain, New Costume, and World Tour! (Exclusive Images)

The world’s coolest K-pop hero is about to turn up the heat — and maybe freeze her rivals in their tracks. Marvel Comics has just dropped new details about its icy idol, Luna Snow, and her next big adventure promises to blend the drama of pop stardom with the danger of superhero life. But here’s where things get interesting: a brand-new K-pop villain is stepping into the spotlight, and fans might not be ready for how deep this rivalry runs.

According to Marvel’s latest announcement, Seol Hee — better known to fans as Luna Snow — is gearing up for her own solo comic event in 2026 titled Luna Snow: World Tour. The comic is written by veteran storyteller Greg Pak and brought to life through the illustrations of Ario Anindito and Takeshi Miyazawa. Readers will get to see Luna step into uncharted territory as she battles a new global threat — and perhaps, her own insecurities about fame, identity, and power.

Luna Snow: World Tour #1 features:

  • Written by Greg Pak
  • Art by Ario Anindito & Takeshi Miyazawa
  • Main cover art by Ario Anindito
  • Variant covers by Fan Yang, Gurihiru, Lesley “Leirix” Li, and NetEase Games

The official synopsis teases that after the world barely recovers from Doctor Doom’s takeover, Luna Snow finds herself at her lowest point yet. Searching for purpose, she decides to channel her pain into her music and launches a worldwide tour to reclaim her voice and her confidence. But the stage lights turn cold when a mysterious new K-pop star named Vibe arrives — and this rival’s irresistible tunes may not just be catchy; they might be criminal. Luna is suddenly forced to defend the same fans who’ve turned against her. Can she win back their hearts and still save the day? And more importantly… which familiar Marvel heroes will come along for the ride?

Greg Pak shared that writing Luna has been a creative joy ever since her debut in War of the Realms: Agents of Atlas. He explained, “This one-shot really lets us dive deep into who Luna is — not just as a superhero, but as a global celebrity in a world where power and fame can be dangerously manipulated.” The story explores how modern culture—and those who control it—can use pop icons and heroes for political or personal gain. And that’s where the controversy lies: is Luna in control of her image, or is she becoming another tool of influence?

Pak also hinted at what’s to come: “We’ve created an unforgettable new villain named Vibe — someone you’ll absolutely love to hate. Plus, we’ve got some major surprise cameos from classic Marvel heroes and stunning artwork from Ario Anindito and Tak Miyazawa. The pages literally glow. You won’t want to miss it.”

Fans first met Seol Hee back in 2019’s War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1, co-created by Pak and artist Gang Hyuk Lim. Her backstory set the tone for a powerful blend of emotion and resilience: orphaned young, she was raised by her grandmother, who encouraged her dream of becoming a K-pop performer. Her career took off as part of the idol group 4L1T, performing under the name Luna — until her debut concert was targeted by A.I.M. During that attack, she was caught in a malfunctioning Stark Industries cold-fusion reactor, granting her the power to control and generate ice. Rebranding herself as Luna Snow, she embraced her new abilities and fought alongside other heroes during major Marvel storylines, including War of the Realms.

Outside the comics, Luna Snow has frozen hearts in the gaming world as well. Her character gained massive attention after debuting in NetEase Games’ popular hero shooter Marvel Rivals. She quickly became a fan favorite, known for her striking design and versatile combat style, serving as one of the first playable heroes featured in the game.

Luna Snow: World Tour #1 hits comic shops everywhere on January 14, 2026 — and it promises a mix of K-pop glamour, superhero intensity, and moral complexity like never before. The big question now is: can a pop idol truly balance fame and heroism in a world that often confuses one for the other?

What do you think — is Luna Snow’s rising stardom empowering or exploitative? And will her new rival Vibe end up stealing more than just the spotlight? Drop your thoughts in the comments — this debate is just heating up.
